10 Star Wars Deleted Scenes That Need To Be Restored

1. (Episode VI) Vader's Arrival & Luke's Lightsaber

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ayT0EZwbks For those who have seen the deleted scenes, I think we all know what was going to be number one. Why Lucas and co. cut this scene from the movie is beyond me. Where do we begin? Oh, I know. Where it all began. Throughout the Star Wars Saga, Tatooine has been an important, if not, monumental planet that has as much a part of the Skywalker family as the Force does. This scene elegantly brings the entire saga full circle as it not only portrays the aftermath of Vader and Luke's duel but also of Luke and Anakin's lives and stories. First, with Luke starting out as a humble farm boy to a wise, bad ass Jedi Knight and Anakin as a former Jedi Knight turned Sith Lord. Where the original trilogy is the story of Luke Skywalker and his rise to restore a fallen order, the Star Wars Saga is the story of the rise, fall, and redemption of Anakin Skywalker. Anakin, reaching out to Luke, desperately trying to have his son by his side begins to show a sense of conflict with himself as he now has a legacy to uphold. His emotions will, in the end, conflict with his actions which then begin the balancing of the Force. Luke, constructing his new green lightsaber, really conveys how far he has come and how, with a few more steps, he can finally save the galaxy and be at peace. As long as he saves Han, which in it's own right is a massive feat as now Luke can show the galaxy that he is now a force to be reckoned with. Agree? Disagree? Just want to troll? Either way, let me know what you got to say and leave a comment below.
