4. (Episode V) Luke and Leia At The Medical Center
Another great scene as it begins to show the loving relationship between Luke and Leia. Maybe not as brother and sister but for now its a start. It's awkward to see Leia and Luke come together as close as they are with us knowing all too well that they are siblings. But maybe that can be used as a good thing as it can be a way for the audience to become immersed into the story. The star of this deleted scene was in fact Leia who let out a little emotion here and vented for a bit to Luke about Han and how everyone seems to leave her. What's that? Leia's not just some sex bot android who can command armies and fire a gun while wearing hair buns? Yup. Here Leia shows that she has grown up from A New Hope and that her relationship with Han and Luke has expanded and grown. It's a good touch to see the human side of the heroes and the conflicts between them. As Leia's tone of voice is not that of commanding and sass but of caring and compassion, something to keep an eye out for when Episode VII is released, as Leia has grown up considerably sense the Fall of the Empire.
