10 Star Wars Mistakes You Can’t Unsee

3. Padme's All-Purpose Button - Attack Of The Clones

The technology on display, in particular during the supremely high-tech days of the Republic, was a regular highlight in an often dark period for the Skywalker Saga, with the ever-evolving battle droids utilised by the Separatists and the highly impressive lightsaber variations boasted by the likes of Count Dooku and Darth Maul being just a few notable mentions.

But for every unquestionably awesome tool utilised in this pre-Empire galaxy, there was also another piece of kit that left fans scratching their heads once they took a closer look. Jumping back into the second Prequel feature, during a hologram conversation between Obi-Wan, the Jedi Council, Padme & Anakin, Padme patches the Jedi Master through to his allies via the pressing of a specific button on the ship.

Then, literally seconds later, the senator presses the exact same button to bring up a map to Geonosis. So, are we to believe this galaxy's technology is so advanced that one simple button can pull off wildly different tasks with ease? With the shots of Padme pushing the button being virtually identical, it's much more likely this was nothing more than a cheeky shortcut forged in the editing suite.
