10 Star Wars Things That Improved Over The Last 10 Years
4. The Live-Action Series Are Adding New Layers Of Depth To The Films
And speaking of the small-screen tales that have recently been told by Lucasfilm and Disney over the last few years, the likes of The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Andor have all also helped flesh out this galaxy far, far away in consistently unexpected ways.
From investigating the impact Anakin Skywalker's fall had on his former master in Kenobi, to the true price of fighting for a brighter tomorrow being presented in Tony Gilroy's Cassian Andor-led series, it's impossible to watch the likes of Revenge of the Sith or Rogue One the same way again in the wake of experiencing these always intriguing new live-action entries into the timeline.
Even the odd miss in the form of the rather forgettable Book of Boba Fett can be forgiven as that outing at least finally gave fans an on-screen look at precisely how the titular Star Wars legend escaped his Return of the Jedi sarlacc doom.
And with Skeleton Crew, The Acolyte, Ahsoka, Andor season two, and The Mandalorian season four on the horizon, the galaxy far, far away looks set to continue growing and adding new fascinating layers to the stories of the past for the foreseeable future.
