While there had been more than a few Star Wars attractions dropped into the likes of Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios over the years, there hadn't ever really been a space where fans of the Force could truly immerse themselves in the universe they'd come to adore.

Then Galaxy's Edge came along in 2019 and provided the Star Wars day out you'd been looking for.

Massively levelling up from those pre-2013 attractions like the Jedi Training Academy and Star Tours, this themed area found in Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California and the aforementioned Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida honestly has something for every Jedi, Rebel, or Imperial in the galaxy.

Whether you just feel like having a tipple in Oga's Cantina, taking part in the Smuggler's Run on the Millennium Falcon, or finally want to fulfil your dreams of crafting your very own custom lightsaber, it's never felt more possible to actually blast off into your own personal Star Wars adventure.

All in all, the Star Wars theme park experience has had quite the upgrade in recent times.
