From the not so humble beginnings of being one of the most brilliant surgeons on the planet, Stephen Strange has become one of the most powerful beings in the entire universe. Though he always had an incredible mind, study, practice, and being thrown in the deep end way earlier than he should ever have been allowed him to become a true master of the mystic arts.

Being able to manipulate time, space, and just about everything in between, there is seemingly nothing that the Doctor is not able to achieve. He stopped the entire battlefield from flooding in Endgame, he went one on one with Thanos on Titan and may have won had it not have been for the sheer amount of infinity stones in play, and used his greatest weapon to defeat Dormammu, a being from another dimension with seemingly limitless power.

It's safe to say that if it hadn't been for Stephen Strange, though he handed one of the stones directly to Thanos, there wouldn't have been any chance for the heroes of the universe, and though he may not have the Time Stone any more, he certainly has not lost any of his strength.

Phase Four will see the MCU as we know it crumble under the weight of the multiverse, and only Doctor Strange is strong enough to even have a chance of saving it.
