10 Subtle Movie Easter Eggs Only Hardcore Fans Will Catch
3. The "Disney Point" - Saving Mr. Banks
Here's one that only the most devoted Disney obsessives are ever going to catch. In the Walt Disney biopic Saving Mr. Banks, you might notice that Mr. Disney (Tom Hanks) only ever points with two fingers.
This is a reference to the fact that Disney was a prolific smoker throughout his life, but in order to maintain a clean, family-friendly image, he would have the cigarettes airbrushed out of any official photos, seemingly leaving him with a strange two-finger point.
In the decades since, this has become known as the "Disney point," with Disney theme park employees even being strictly instructed to always point with two fingers rather than one - because a single-finger point might be perceived as rude by international guests.
