10 Successful Movies That Prove You Will Watch ANYTHING

5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Grown Ups
Paramount

Box Office: $493.3 million

Why does Michael Bay hate our childhoods so much that he feels the need to s*#t on them every chance he gets? And why do we keep paying him for the right to watch it happen? Bay is a man with a simple process to his film making lately- Did people used to like it? Yes. Do they still like it? Maybe. Great let's make it huge and put some explosions in so.

Between its awful looking, and needlessly huge, Turtles to the impressively wooden, even for her, performance by the bafflingly cast Megan Fox, there is just nothing redeemable about this movie. It even manages to waste the normally charismatic Will Arnett in a sea of mediocrity.

It is an insult to, what is for most of us, a precious childhood memory and the fact that it was so successful should force us all to have a long hard look at ourselves. This is one movie that should have stayed in the sewers where it belonged.
