10 Superhero Films That Abused Us Worse Than Fantastic Four

4. Jonah Hex

Scarred bounty hunter antihero Jonah Hex is already one of DC's tougher sells, but this 2010 adaptation of the comics did nobody any favours. With a cast that consisted of Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Michael Fassbender it looked promising, but an excess of CGI and Megan Fox resulted in one of the worst comic book adaptations since Batman & Robin. Ugly, stupid and criminally dull, Jonah Hex wastes its promising cast and interesting central character (Two-Face in a stetson!), instead telling a rote story of revenge in a steampunk Western town. Its dull gunplay and daft posturing will make one beg for the colourful ridiculousness of Will Smith's Wild Wild West. Just let that one sink in.
