10 Superhero Films That Abused Us Worse Than Fantastic Four
3. Elektra
While the infamous Daredevil isn't quite so bad as certain quarters might make out, this spin-off is. Already miscast in Daredevil, Jennifer Garner returns to the role of Elektra for the movie of the same name. While cinema desperately needs all of the female-led superhero films it can get, Rob Bowman's dippy ninja nonsense really isn't the place to start. Resurrected following her apparent demise in Daredevil, Elektra is trained by blind trainer Stick and, following expulsion from his tutelage (too angry), becomes a contract killer. While this is a great idea for an Elektra movie, that never translates to the screen, instead being but a collection of silly martial arts sequences and ninja conspiracies. While the other movies on this list might be bad, Elektra is remarkable in being maybe the most forgettable superhero film of all time.
