10 Superheroes Who Should Get A Movie Before Wonder Woman

8. Captain Marvel (Marvel)

Wonderwoman 81Who is this? You might know her as Ms. Marvel, a super-heroine who gained cosmic powers after being fused with Kree DNA, she recently assumer the mantle of the hero who inspired her, Captain Marvel. Her powers include super-strength, flight, the ability to shoot energy bolts from her hands, virtually indestructible, and is possibly the most powerful woman in the Marvel galaxy; powers-wise she is essentially Marvel's Wonder Woman, with a few extra powers. Captain Marvel is also a semi-regular member f the member of Avengers in the comics. Why is this person a better choice than WW? As Thanos approaches Earth in the Marvel Cinematic, the Avengers are gonna need all hands on deck to defeat him. Having a superhero with the amazing cosmic powers of Captain Marvel would be a great boon to the cause. With several years head start on DC, Marvel is expanding their film roster at a blistering pace, and the time is right for them to introduce a POWERFUL female character. Black Widow is a great character and all, but lets face it, she's a human. The race is on between these companies to produce a female hero than can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the likes of Superman, Iron Man, Hulk, and Batman, and if Marvel chooses to make a Captain Marvel movie before DC can get Wonder Woman off the ground, that would have to be considered a hug win for Marvel. Captain Marvel Katee SackhoffWho should be cast? The woman known affectionately across the globe as "Starbuck" from Battlestar Galactica, Katee Sackhoff, was born to play this part. Apart from looking like she was the model they designed the character off of, Sackhoff is used to playing women who are strong in character and physically. Although she's yet to have a big hit at the theaters, her cult following on BSG shows her likability and that she can connect to a fanbase. Marvel not even need to hold auditions, this role casts itself.
