3. Catwoman (DC)
Who Is This? Selina Kyle started out as a costumed cat burglar, but has evolved to become one of the most interesting characters in the DCU; Catwoman is sometimes portrayed as an outright villain, sometimes a misguided thief, and in recent years she has become Batman's on-again off-again girlfriend, who fights mostly on the side of good. She's also arguably the sexiest character in comics.
Why is this person a better choice than WW? Much more relevant in the public's eye than Wonder Woman over the past twenty years, Catwoman would require very little of the movie to be dedicated to an origin. Selina Kyle's moral ambiguity is another strong point here and could give the movie more of an 'edge' than most superhero films. As with Nightwing, the fact that you can have Batman and any of his famous rogues pop up in this movie is another strong reason it could happen.
Who should be cast? Anne Hathaway was near purrfect in The Dark Knight Rises; even fans who hated that movie admitted she was the best part. However, if we're creating a new DC Universe on film separate from those movie's she's not an available option. Olivia Wilde would be the perfect choice to replace Ms Hathaway as she's one of the sexiest women on the planet and already has experience acting in a tight black leather body suit (Tron: Legacy).
