10 Superheroes Who Need To Die In Their Next Movie
9. Nick Fury
The Reasoning: The Character Has Become A Bit Stale Let's face it: Nick Fury probably should have died for good in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, at the point in which the screenwriters led us to believe he'd been killed. In reality, his "death" turned out to be a simple ruse in order to trick the enemy - but had Marvel actually had the guts to kill off S.H.I.E.L.D.'s director, the movie would have felt a lot braver and a lot more transformative; unfortunately, Marvel felt like keeping Fury around for longer. You can't exactly blame them: Samuel L. Jackson's character is a handy exposition machine, and is certainly a fan favourite. But the moments where he pops up to make the audience go, "Oh, cool, Nick Fury" or those sequences where he comes forward to do something unexpectedly badass, or shout at somebody... well, they're starting to wear a little thin. He should have died in The Winter Soldier; he should definitely die next time around.
