10 Superheroes Who Need To Die In Their Next Movie
7. Loki
The Reasoning: Easy Plot Device For Writers Not really a "superhero," but not really a villain either, Loki makes our list for one reason: he's too easy, and is consistently being used by the MCU writers as a go-to means of creating tension or drama when they can't be bothered to think of anything else. Think about it: his motives were scrambled in The Avengers and in Thor, but because Loki isn't good or bad, it's easy for Marvel to make him do whatever they want because "he's Loki." Killing off such a popular character would certainly alienate a bunch of fans who think the demi-God is the best thing since sliced bread, but his schtick is also waring a little thin. Given how easy it to use Loki as a plot device, then, it would certainly be interesting for Marvel to throw a curveball and actually kill him off next time he decides to play one of his games. He's something of a crutch right now, and his death would inspire a lot of new creativity.
