10 Superheroes Who Need To Die In Their Next Movie
6. Kick-Ass
The Reasoning: Finish The Trilogy On The Appropriate Note It's probably important to mention that there is no actual guarantee that there will be anymore Kick-Ass movies. A recent interview with Chloe Moretz, who plays foul-mouthed teen assassin Hit-Girl, revealed that the future of this franchise is somewhat up in the air. That's mainly due to the fact that the last movie in the series, Kick Ass 2, was a relative box office failure - and it didn't exactly fare well with the critics, either (29% on Rotten Tomatoes - erk!). Still, should anybody ever decide to put the wheels of the Kick-Ass 3 train in motion, the best and most admirable decision that the writers could take would be to kill off the titular hero - almost as a way of defining the very ethos of the series: that superheroes don't exactly work in real life. It would be a brave move, and certainly one that would inject the series with an added dose of melancholia and realism (even if it does differ from the comic).
