10 Supernatural Heroes We Can’t Wait To See In The MCU
4. Elsa Bloodstone
Speaking of the Disney+ Halloween special (this won't be the last you hear of it, either), Elsa Bloodstone - who, according to (unsubstantiated) reports, will played by The Nevers star, Laura Donnelly - is set to feature prominently in the series.
Sometimes compared to Van Helsing or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Elsa Bloodstone is a monster hunter whose father, Ulysses, was an immortal granted superhuman powers by an artifact known as the Bloodgem, which Elsa inherited. A not-so-great dad by any stretch, he forged Elsa into a world-class slayer of monsters, demons, and eldritch beasts. On top of her excellent martial arts and marksman skills, Elsa gained a plethora of abilities from the Bloodgem. It enhances her strength, speed, agility, and healing factor; it makes her immune to, among other things, vampire bites, and it allows her to shoot blasts of energy from her hands.
She's been a member of the Midnight Sons - specifically, the incarnation that included Blade, Brother Voodoo, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, and Man-Thing in its ranks. If the MCU is indeed building towards a Midnight Sons project, it only makes sense to include Bloodstone.
