9. Werewolf By Night

With Doctor Strange on the way - and so many different ways in which characters can now be introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (movies, television shows and Netflix shows etc) - it's surely only a matter of time before monsters of the classic variety start making their presence felt in the franchise. That particular evolution of the franchise could see the Werewolf by Night introduced. Born Jacob Russoff, he became known as Jack Russell and is a descendent of the mystically altered humans known as as Lycanthropes - hence his unique ability to transform into a powerful and feral beast. The character initially had no control over the transformation - it would happen during the full moon like in classic werewolf lore - but he developed control over it and was able to put it to use. He has been a member of the heroic teams the Legion of Monsters and the Midnight Sons, but also the criminal Night Shift. His introduction would be a good reactive move from Marvel as Universal Studios look set to create a cinematic universe of classic movie monsters.
