10 Talented Actors Who Just Can't Seem To Make A Good Film

10. Kevin Spacey

No. Of Rotten Films In Past 5 Years: 5 Kevin Spacey isn't an actor you'd naturally associated with bad movies; he has enough established classics in his filmography to ensure that you don't remember the failures. And yet, modern Kevin Spacey - Kevin Spacey of the last five or ten years - seem wholly incapable of making a genuinely good movie. Seriously: try to name one fairly recent movie starring Kevin Spacey that a) featured the actor in a starring role and b) was actually a solid film. Can't think of one? Well, there's a reason for that. Quite simply, there aren't any. Spacey's post-American Beauty career has consisted of outright duds or films that simply failed to live up to expectations. 2011's Margin Call - directed by the great J.C. Chandor - is the best thing Spacey has done in years, and nobody even really saw it; that, coupled with the robot he voiced in sci-fi flick Moon, sums up this Oscar-winning actor's efforts of late. You'd think that someone as good as K-PAX could find his way into far better projects. It's strange to think of this actor as somebody who is consistently failing to find juicy, worthwhile roles, but it's true - no wonder he made the move to television, huh?
