10 Talented Actors Who Just Can't Seem To Make A Good Film

9. John Travolta

No. Of "Rotten" Films In Past 5 Years: 5 The last time somebody came out of a movie and said the words: "Man, John Travolta was freakin' amazing in that!" was in, like, 1994. Travolta has always had something of an up and down career, of course; he was huge in the '70s and early '80s, but lost relevance going towards the '90s until Quentin Tarantino briefly revived his career with Pulp Fiction. John Travolta is one of those super famous actors who everybody knows, and yet he only has a handful of genuinely good films to his name. Take away Grease, Saturday Night Fever and Pulp Fiction, and what are you left with? Blow Out and Face/Off at a push? And yet that doesn't mean that John Travolta isn't a talented guy - he's capable of great performances if he isn't phoning it in, and - let's face it - he's only ever phoning it in nowadays. His last five years have consisted of generic blockbusters that even the least fussy of all movie-goers probably switched off half-way through; action films with little flair that are packed with cliches, such as Killing Season and From Paris With Love (ugh). The only reason Travolta hasn't had more than 5 "Rotten" movies since 2010 is because he doesn't work that much anymore. C'mon, Johnny: make a good film. Is it that hard?
