3. Ivan Reitman

The Five Awful Movies: Father's Day, Six Days Seven Nights, Evolution, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, No Strings Attached Mention of Ivan Reitman's name might not be one to instantly bring a particular movie to your mind, but trust me, you're a fan of at least one of his movies. Ever heard of a little flick called Ghostbusters, by any chance? Maybe you've got some nostalgia-love for Twins or Junior or Kindergarten Cop, given that Reitman also happened to be Arnold Schwarzenegger's go-to guy whenever he fancied a break from violently killing people. If you're fond of any of those flicks, Dave and Meatballs included, Ivan Reitman was the man responsible. But with the advancement of time comes the prospect of pushing your luck, with is what Reitman apparently did just be choosing to continue making movies. How, exactly, was it possible for the man who directed Ghostbusters to have churned out so much crap over the last ten years or so? My Super Ex-Girlfriend? What was anybody involved in that movie thinking? Alas, Reitman's talent seems to have transfered itself into his son, Jason Reitman, who just made Thank You For Smoking, Juno, Up In The Air and Young Adult in a row.
