3. "You're Coming With Me..." - One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

The Movie: Cocksure criminal Randall Patrick 'Mac' McMurphy (Jack Nicholson) is transferred to a mental institution for evaluation in 1960s Oregon. He rebels against the system and inspires his fellow patients, only to clash with the cruel Nurse Ratched (Louise Fletcher) who runs the ward. Tear-Jerker Moment: After being taken 'upstairs' following an attack on Nurse Ratched rumours of Mac's escape pass throughout the ward. Late one night however, Chief Bromden (Will Sampson) sees McMurphy being escorted back to bed. His initial elation ('I knew you wouldn't leave without me') turns to horror as he sees the lobotomy scars on his forehead. After an embrace he tells his friend he's not going without him and proceeds to smother him with a pillow, setting him free, and then carries out McMurphy's escape plan.
