Well, how about Thomas Brodie-Sangster? At this point, the young actor seems like the perfect combination of all possible Peter Parkers: he's got the young adult recognition level, much like Lerman and the John Green denizens of the world; like Chalamet, he's also got a recurring role on a proper grown up TV show (in his case Game Of Thrones), so there's something for the older audiences too. Like Andrew Garfield, Butterfield and Holland he's an English actor, but his American accent isn't bad. Brodie-Sangster's one hurdle to overcome is that many still remember him best as Liam Neeson's step-son from Love Actually who learns how to play the drums to impress one of his pre-teen classmates before she moves back to the US. He's come a long way since then, though. Brodie-Sangster has had supporting roles in any number of films, from The Maze Runner to John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy. He's also lead the Australian indie drama Death Of A Superhero, as a dying 15-year-old who draws comics about an invincible super hero. There's every box checked. Teens love him! Grown-up nerds too! He's a great actor, and he can do the action scenes too! Plus he needs people to forget about that whole Love Actually thing. By wearing a mask! Who do you want to play Spider-Man in The Next Avenger? Throw out your pick down in comments.
