The Pitch: The modestly successful 2006 horror film starring WWE's Kane returns for a belated sequel, with acclaimed directing duo the Soska Sisters (Dead Hooker in a Trunk, American Mary) helming this straight-to-DVD follow-up. Why It Sucked: Despite the Soska Sisters bring their characteristically demented directorial style and lashings of gore to the forefront, See No Evil 2 is a mostly boring horror flick that can't even serve up imaginative kills despite all the bloodshed. In fairness, it's probably better than the original, largely thanks to the direction and decent cast (including Katherine Isabelle and Halloween's Danielle Harris), but there are gaping holes in logic, and Kane's antagonist Jacob Goodnight just isn't very interesting or scary at all. Will There Be A Sequel?: If DVD sales are solid, it's entirely possible Kane will be back for a third time around, though hopefully the Soska Sisters will be putting their energy into projects better befitting their talents by then.
