Be it live-action or animated fare, the company has helped deliver top-drawer entertainment for close to a hundred years now, turning out such acclaimed fare like Mary Poppins and Beauty and the Beast to name a few.

Even now, in the modern era with their takeovers of Marvel, Pixar and Lucasfilm, they are still crafting blockbuster-sized fare of a remarkable calibre, particularly when stacked up against the quality of their rivals.

But the House of Mouse doesn't always get it right with their big productions - and they get it wrong remarkably more often when it comes to the quickfire follow-up intended to stoke the coffers.

There's likely over a hundred sequels in the Disney archives, but only so many are worth your time - and plenty are definitely not. With that in mind, we've assembled a list of ten that you might not even believe they made, with the caveat that if you seek them out, you have been suitably warned.

If you're in the mood to become a Kermit the Frog completest, then look no further than this bizarre mid-noughties curio; a television film adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, in which the singer Ashanti steps into Judy Garland's red shoes and is transported away to a mystical land, complete with all the Henson-esque felt creations you could ask for.

The then-latest in a string of Muppet movies that had seen the franchises' fortunes decline from big-to-small-screen, it's probably best remembered for an absolutely out-of-nowhere Quentin Tarantino cameo in its extended edition - and yes, there was an extended edition. The franchise subsequently went dormant until the acclaimed reboot The Muppets in 2011.
