A. A. Milne's beloved creation - the honey-loving bear in the red shirt - has seen many existences across the Disney canon, most recently brought into the live-action world in the spiritual sequel Christopher Robin in 2018.

But this straight-to-video concoction that arrived on the back of the more sweet-natured Pooh's Heffalump Movie released the same year verges into saccharine territory hard to stomach even amid his particularly gentle world - and its seasonal specificity marks it out as nothing more than a particularly obvious cash-grab to boot.
