If one thing can be said for Disney's incessant need to remake all their animated classics in a live-action format, it's that it should do away with these bargain-bin concoctions - or that one day, we may be punished by seeing them rendered in flesh and blood.

A second follow-up to the 1950 classic and the final film produced by Disney Australia, it sees Cinderella's stepmother in possession of the Fairy Godmother's wand, kickstarting some time-travel shenanigans to ensure that one of her own daughters ends up married to Prince Charming.

Not many people remember it - and that's the way it should probably stay if Disney decide they want to hand the Lily James take a full-blown follow-up.
