"You know what happens when a toad gets struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else." Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Who in their right mind thought that piece of dialogue was fit for inclusion in the first X-Men movie?! Undoubtedly, people will have walked out of movie theatres, DVDs will have been binned and television stations turned over as people witnessed one of the most diabolically awful lines in movie history. This might seem like an over-reaction to something so trivial, but is it really? It was unimaginative cheesy nonsense and it's careless moments in writing like that which run the risk of ruining entire movies for people. Truly embarrassing stuff.
