4. Terminator 2: Judgement Day - The Roll

I love Terminator 2: Judgement Day; it's not only my favourite James Cameron movie, nor is it just my favourite action movie - it is my favourite movie of all time, without question. I think it's almost the perfect movie, with an astounding blend of action, humour and drama, but there's just one moment that bugs the Hell out of me and prevents me from referring to it as "actually perfect". Near the end of the film when the T-800 is atop the T-1000's lorry filled with Liquid Nitrogen and is firing away (as above), he manages to pull the vehicle onto its side, and as it nears the entrance of the steel mill, realises that he needs to bail. So, what does he do? He performs the most ridiculous diving roll off the top of the lorry to the floor, absurd because a) it's clearly a stunt double b) the video has been altered somehow, either sped up or animated and c) a several-ton machine would completely destroy the land he was performing a diving roll onto. It's just hilarious and doesn't suit the film at all; it's incredibly goofy and it would have looked so much better if he just dived off like a badass.
