10 Terrible Movie Super Villains Which Deserve Another Attempt
5. Bullseye
2003's Daredevil was an embarrassment that took one of Marvel's greatest heroes and made them into nothing more than a leather-clad joke.
It's hard to find anything about the cinematic disaster that was genuinely good, but its treatment of Daredevil's characters was truly abhorrent.
One of the worst off was Bullseye, the super-powered marksman with the innate ability to hit any target.
Colin Farrell's performance was less than impressive, and the character's bald head and forehead bullseye brand looked cartoonish next to the over-edgy red zip-up leather of Daredevil's costume. A particular low-point for the supervillain is murdering an old woman on a plane with a peanut, which goes some way towards explaining what an absolutely awful movie Daredevil really was.
While Bullseye isn't one of the better known Marvel villains, he has since lived in infamy for this awful portrayal, and he deserves better than that.
Netflix's Daredevil was able to bring a more fully realised version of the character to our screens, and with talk of Charlie Cox donning the red suit in the MCU, maybe we'll finally get to see Bullseye be something other than a laughing point on the big screen.
