10 Terrible Movies That Have Surprisingly Awesome Soundtracks

2. Spawn

The Movie: Spawn is that classic tale of a superhero corpse attempting to avenge his death by killing all involved in his murder. It's a bit like The Crow...but with a mask. And a cape. And John Leguizamo as a toxic-farting demon clown. Yep. Classic tale. Spawn holds the dubious distinction of being ranked lower than Daredevil, Batman Forever, and every iteration of The Punisher that has ever been filmed on Rotten Tomatoes. In case you're wondering where this falls in that category. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofamFBk92Pk&list=PLkSCNj0XyHflmMve6ioyYF8ZCei2wEwbM The Soundtrack: Using a somewhat novel concept (at least for the time), the Spawn soundtrack paired big-time hard rock bands with up-and-coming electronic artists. Out of these seemingly odd tag teams, we get awesome results in the form of Filter & Crystal Method's "Trip Like I Do," a goddamned pulverizing track that would help propel both band's careers. They don't all work (the Incubus track is pretty rough), but then Tom Morello and Prodigy come back to make everything better again.
