10 Terrible Things Everyone Forgets About Beloved Movie Characters

5. Dumbledore Manipulated Everyone Around Him

You can't really talk about being a manipulative jerk face without giving some mention to Dumbledore. Granted, he had it a bit rougher than Ferris Bueller, having magic Nazis to deal with instead of the simple need for a day off. But that doesn't change the fact that Dumbledore played pretty much everyone around him for a sap, and his ultimate scheme involved a teenage boy - whom he had mentored and acted as a father toward - basically committing suicide.

It got to the point where even king trash of problematic fave mountain Severus Snape had to call him out for going way over the line. And if Severus Snape thinks you're too crazy, you're DEFINITELY just too damn crazy.

Even from a standpoint of the ends justifying the means, when you consider just how much of ole Al's plan relied on Harry not getting on the bad side of Hogwarts' various monsters and dangers during his time there (which he does) and ending up as Fluffy's dinner, it starts to seem a lot less ingenious.
