4. Jack Skellington Kidnapped Santa
There are a select few things you can do that immediately put you on the "cartoon supervillain who deserves a kick to the nads" shortlist. A few of these are: mistreat animals of any kind, insult and demean those less fortunate for no reason, listen to Limp Bizkit, and kidnapping Santa Claus. Winner winner chicken dinner, Mr. Skellington.
Nightmare Before Christmas is nothing short of a classic. A brilliant musical and a charming children's movie. About a guy who kidnaps Santa. There's no real way to sugarcoat it, mostly because the film certainly doesn't want you to. Jack most charming aspect is also his biggest flaw: his enthusiasm typically gets the better of his judgement and he doesn't think things through.
Which is about as effective a justification as you'll ever get for kidnapping. Santa. Claus. He's a charming character to be sure, and he definitely learns his lesson at the end (amazing how effective a howitzer to the face is at provoking self reflection) but still, he kidnapped Santa. Not cool, dude.
