10 Terrifying Horror Films That Will Haunt Your 2015

9. 31

Release date: 2015 Rob Zombie might've suckered you into thinking that he's an absolutely awful director on the basis of his inexcusably bad Halloween remake (not to mention the sequel that saw Michael Myers barely wearing his mask throughout a thoroughly mean-spirited and ugly ninety minutes), but rest assured, he still has some tricks up his sleeve. The former heavy metaller's first couple of films, House Of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects, were throwbacks to the glory days of messy, gross and ridiculous exploitation horror of the seventies grindhouse, and last year's divisive witchy thriller The House Of Salem mined similar territory. He's since crowdfunded his next production, 31, about five people kidnapped during the lead up to Halloween and forced to fight for survival against a group of killer clowns known as "the heads." Sounds like more gritty, nightmarish stuff. The guy is named Zombie.
