Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson are two such directors. Having previously teamed (with Benson writing) on a couple of low-budget features and a handful of shorts €“ most recently contributing a segment to anthology horror V/H/S: Viral €“ Spring is the duo's first big full-length film, a psychological thriller with a mysterious premise that earned rave reviews on the festival circuit. Lou Taylor Pucci (who you may have seen in the Evil Dead remake or superior indie drama Thumbsucker) stars as young man in a personal tailspin who finds the love of his life (Nadia Hiler) whilst visiting Italy - but she's harbouring a rather dark, primordial secret...
