Pennywise is rightfully hailed as one of the newest horror icons with Bill Skarsgard's terrific performance set to go down as one of the all-time great characters of the genre.

After 5 hours of runtime, audiences found out that the titular beast is finally defeated by making him feel really bad about himself. For all his horrifying hallucinations and violent murders, he turned out to be a big wimp if you simply questioned his power.

The loser club resorts to shouting put-downs on the clown, and he gradually gets smaller as he realizes his once scared victims no longer saw him as a threat. It is a profoundly weird way to take out a supposed 'eater of worlds', and frankly you wonder how he survived for millennia when the solution is basically to act like a playground bully.

He's laughably easy to beat if you just scream insults at him, and have a bit of backbone if he tries to flash his scary teeth. Once you stand up to it and stop running scared he's rendered virtually powerless.

For one of the best modern movie monsters, he's a surprising pushover. You should have no trouble beating this entity provided you ignore all the theatrics he'll throw at you.
