10 Theories How Wolverine Can Fit Into X-Men: Apocalypse

There's a lot of speculation to be had about Wolverine's part in X-Men: Apocalypse, although it may end up that it really isn't up to all that much. Singer and co. repeatedly stated that Hugh Jackman 100% isn't in the film and his visit to the film's set was shrouded by a veil of secrecy. This seems like a lot of effort to put into hiding something you're going to reveal pre-release anyway.

Could it be that, after the previous trailers failed to break the internet quite as successfully as Marvel had with Captain America: Civil War, Fox decided to push a big-but-short surprise a bit early? They're definitely trying to avoid showing too much, but maybe we didn't see Hugh Jackman's face because once you see him there isn't that much more to show.

If this is the case, then Wolverine's appearance is little more than a glorified cameo, with only atad more screen-time than what he had in First Class. Which, given all the potential we've discussed here, would be a bit of a shame.
