10 Things Avengers: Infinity War Must Avoid

5. Giving Nick Fury Nothing To Do

Samuel L. Jackson may be pushing 70 years of age, but that doesn't really excuse Nick Fury's bizarre sidelining from the MCU as of late, especially in Civil War, where he was conspicuously absent.

It's known that Jackson will definitely appear in Infinity War, and to be honest, it just might be time to kill the character off, giving him a memorable and meaningful sacrificial death, being murdered by Thanos while saving the lives of several members of the Avengers, perhaps?

Otherwise, is he just going to show up for a few minutes, dump some exposition and be on his merry way?

Will It Happen?: Given how vocally fans decried Fury's absence from Civil War, there will probably be a strong desire from Marvel to make up for that, and what better than Fury getting an awesome death scene, for good this time?

If Marvel makes Fury boring again, as in Avengers: Age of Ultron, they're just leaving money at the table.
