10 Things Everybody Gets Wrong About The Marvel Cinematic Universe

8. Writing "S.H.I.E.L.D." & "HYDRA"/"Hydra" Incorrectly

Granted, this doesn't only apply to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as both organisations are very prominent in the comic book universe as well but, given how they are the integral representations of good and evil in the MCU, the error is more prominently written in reference the live action versions. S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division) is written in all capital letters with full stops placed after every single letter, including the last one. Instances of the acronym being incorrectly written as "SHIELD" or "Shield" often crop up. HYDRA or Hydra can be written either in all capitals - in spite of the fact that it isn't an acronym - or simply with a capital "H". Ironically, it is often written how S.H.I.E.L.D. should be written - "H.Y.D.R.A." - and that's wrong.
