10. Baron Von Strucker Will Be A Recurring Antagonist
*WARNING: SPOILERS for Captain America: The Winter Soldier ahead. Although Ultron is the title villain of Avengers: Age of Ultron, he wont be the only villain Earths Mightiest Heroes face off against. It was revealed earlier this year that Thomas Kretschmann will play Baron von Strucker in the upcoming sequel, and made has made his first appearance in the post-credits scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Kretschmann signed a multi-picture deal, which likely means he wont bite the dust when hes eventually defeated in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Strucker is known in the comics as one of HYDRAs leaders, and he retains this position in the films. HYDRA was featured heavily in Captain America: The First Avenger, and it was revealed in The Winter Soldier that theyve infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. Although Marvel hasnt revealed whether Kretschmann will appear again after the Avengers sequel, Strucker is too good of a character to drop after one appearance. He may not reach the levels of Loki or Ultron, but Strucker will probably strike back in one of the movies or television shows. Sometimes its hard to keep a good villain down.
