This moment has been discussed a lot since people had the displeasure of laying eyes on it back in March, and it's painful to bring it up again but some people cannot accept how f*ckin terribly god-awful it well and truly is.

The 'Martha Moment' was the culmination of the title fight between two of the world's biggest heroes. The titans had punched, kicked and wrestled each other to the point of exhaustion but finally the metallic Batman had the upper hand. With the alien threat submissive under his colossal boot, Batman raises his spear to pierce the heart of this harbinger of doom. All of a sudden a word is uttered from the alien's lips and with it the realisation...that their mums have the same name.

The fight comes to end and they are now the best of friends.

Everyone involved in the thought process, writing and eventual release of this scene should be fired immediately and possibly lobotomised pending a psychological review.

Unbelievably there are still those who thought this scene was great and claim that if you don't understand it you're just missing the point. No one is missing the point. The sequence is simple, the interpretation shallow, and the scene a piece of sh*t.
