10 Things Fanboys Won't Accept About 2016 Movies

Probably the biggest fan war this year has been between the DC and Marvel fan-people, with many a blood-ridden superhero emblem emerging from the worldwide onslaught. Since the beginning of time there have been DC fans and Marvel fans and never the twain should meet. Except when they do and they're able to love both and just enjoy movies. They are dubbed 'the lucky ones'.

Here on the battlefield the fact, that's right fact, which many cannot accept is that Marvel are winning with this year's Civil War achieving everything that Batman V Superman attempted. The similarities between the two movies are too numerous to be a coincidence and are more likely a cosmic joke inviting comparisons between the two when there's really no contest.

The juggling of a large ensemble cast and introducing new characters whilst expanding a shared universe are large elements in both, with one an example of failure further highlighting the other's triumph. Unbelievably both even involve a main character's mum, with one landing gracefully while the other lands like a brick to the face.

If you still struggle to believe it, please look at the critical consensus, the audience consensus and the box office takings and begin the grieving process.
