9. Tricycles
What's scary about a tricycle? Nothing. Everyone loves a good tricycle - especially a cute little red and white one made for children. Unless that tricycle is being ridden by a creepy ventriloquist's dummy, of course... that's a different story. The puppet, who has affectionately been named Billy by the production team of the Saw franchise, is most frequently seen taunting Jigsaw's victims before they get horribly murdered. Thankfully, the tricycle does not appear too much in daily life, meaning we don't spend every day peering round every corner fearing that one will jump out at us. But since the release of the first Saw film in 2004, I think it's safe to say we're all a little more cautious when passing a children's playground. In addition, for those of you who would like to freak out a tricycle-fearing friend this Halloween, you can purchase a Billy doll from most creepy gift stores.
