10 Things In Batman Movies That Make No Sense

5. Bruce Wayne Fakes His Death...But Still Goes Out In Public - The Dark Knight Rises

Batman 1989
Warner Bros

The Dark Knight Rises wraps up in satisfyingly tidy fashion as Batman is believed to have perished sacrificing himself to save Gotham, while it's implied that Bruce Wayne was killed during Bane's riots against the rich.

But the film's closing montage reveals, of course, that Bruce faked his own death and is actually with Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) in Florence, where he's spotted by Alfred (Michael Caine).

It's a cute scene, albeit one that makes no sense whatsoever.

If Bruce, presumably one of the most recognisable figures on the planet, wants to maintain his anonymity, hanging out in what's clearly an extremely crowded cafe is a one-way ticket to having his face plastered over social media within minutes and the whole ruse being ruined.
