9. Giving Away Spoilers In The Trailer
The last two Captain America movies sadly both gave away crucial plot points in their trailers: a shot of Nick Fury from late in the movie made it pretty clear that he wasn't dead, and Civil War sneaked in a glimpse of Bucky's severed arm.
If Phase 3 could tone down the heavy spoilers in its marketing campaigns, that'd be great. It takes away the thrill of realising these things for ourselves, and spoiling them in the trailers did absolutely nothing for the movie's PR anyway. These shots could've been removed and their box office success would be exactly the same.
Infinity War in particular needs to play it cool, considering how crucial it'll be for the future of the MCU, though it's much more likely that Doctor Strange and Black Panther will give too much away considering how "risky" they are as solo projects.
