In terms of the cast, there is no bigger question mark surrounding the movie than Megan Fox's performance as fan favourite reporter April O'Neil. The character is so beloved that fans instantly began to groan when the beautiful yet not-particularly-talented Fox was cast as April, because she's such a typical Michael Bay female casting choice, more concerned with looks than acting ability. Still, from what we've seen so far, we can't say we totally hate what Fox is doing: her comic timing seems to be spot on, and she might not be the April we know, but we think we can grow to like her. Yes, there's every chance that what we've seen of Fox's performance so far is her best work in the film, and like anyone, her effort will be constrained by the merits (or lack thereof) of the script, though if the movie keeps her banter with the Turtles and Vern running thick and fast, we have a feeling that fans might owe Ms. Fox a humble apology.
