10 Things Star Wars Fans Don't Want To Accept About The Movies

7. Anakin Skywalker's Transformation Into Darth Vader Barely Made Sense

The Star Wars prequels weren't great, but Revenge of the Sith was the best of a bad bunch, and is praised by many fans for redeeming the entire trilogy. That might be a step too far, especially when it became clear that after wasting so much time in The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, George Lucas was left scrambling to get everything to line up with A New Hope.

On a surface level, he succeeded, but beyond that, there was a lot her that just didn't make sense (Palpatine's silly physical transformation caused by Force Lightning, for example).

There had always been glimpses of darkness within Anakin Skywalker in the prequels, but his sudden decision to turn to the Dark Side came out of nowhere, especially after just a few dreams. The fact the newly crowned "Darth Vader" was so willing to go from reluctantly joining the Sith to striking down children with his Lighstaber was ridiculous, as was his newfound hatred of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Anakin's turn should have begun in Attack of the Clones, and while there are arguments out there that his descent into darkness was perfectly handled, that's simply not the case.

Josh Wilding hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
