10 Things That Could Save The Transformers Movies

2. Change The Human's Involvement

The majority of the first four films have placed an equal amount of attention on the humans and the Transformers, regardless of what the films' titles imply. Humans have proven their usefulness in the Transformers worlds time and time again, and generally provide something (or rather, someone) for the audience to latch onto. But how many humans can you spot in Beast Wars? What about the Generation 2 comic or IDW's Stormbringer saga? Some of the Autobots and Decepticon's greatest adventures are to be found in those stories, and, coincidentally, no humans are involved. Now, having humans taking part in the Transformers' battles can add an extra layer of character, particularly when you've got two sets of characters from other planets. The live-action films, however, offer too much focus on mankind by giving them equal screen-time with the titular robits. A good trimming of all the hunks and hotties to make way for more of those Cybertronian bad boys would not go unappreciated.
