7. Any Appearance By Ambush Bug
Ambush Bug is one of the strangest characters to ever appear in the DC Universe; even more so than the rich guy in the bat costume or the super-strong alien in the blue tights. Irwin Schwab found clothes that were sent away from a doomed planet, which had been intercepted by a giant cosmic radioactive spider who imbued the clothes with powers.
At least, that's what's agreed upon as Ambush Bug's origin. Even Irwin himself isn't sure, since the character's whole gimmick is that he doesn't actually understand the world around him. He's a character who had a complete break from reality even before he had the power of teleportation. He's a bit like Deadpool, in short.
In fact, Ambush Bug is most commonly used to spoof other superheroes, from the Man Of Steel to Spider-Man. The success of the two Deadpool films to date might convince Warner Bros. to try Ambush Bug, but he's even stranger a prospect than the fourth-wall-breaking Merc With A Mouth. And more obscure. And doesn't have a famous fan like Ryan Reynolds.
