10 Things That Would Make The PERFECT Batman Film

5. Embrace The Bats & The Batcave

The Dark Knight Trilogy might be considered the best adaptation of the Batman mythology. It's realistic, and down-to-earth aesthetic painted the picture of what our world would really be if a Batman existed. And while Batman Begins stayed faithful to the comics, the other films seemed to gradually steer away from certain fun traits about the Caped Crusader.

Even in the Tim Burton/Joel Schumacher films, some of those traits glistened through. But after Christopher Nolan's debut, the use of bats as a distraction and even the Batcave itself wandered off screen and seemed to be forgotten.

It's not a big request that future films continue the tradition of Batman setting up shop in a cave and living amongst the winged creatures, but to do so really adds the gothic and menacing aspect of the vigilante. Avoiding such an aspect just makes Batman a guy in black armor wearing a helmet with horns for some unknown reason.

It's too early to tell if Matt Reeves will employ some form of the Batcave in his interpretation; but if he does, let's hope he makes use of a cave and not an attic or some futuristic self-storage facility.

I overthink a lot of things. Will talk about pretty much anything for a great length of time. I'm obsessed with General Slocum from the 2002 Spider-Man film. I have questions that were never answered in that entire trilogy!
