10 Things That Would Make The PERFECT Batman Film

4. Honour The No-Kill Policy

"I won't kill you, but I don't have to save you..."

Batman's hypocrisy towards taking a life is borderline laughable. In all but one film he has taken a life either directly or through circumstance, and for a man who stands by the mantra that killing is a line he won't cross, he has tallied up a handsome list of bodies over the years

Whether he is a straight up murderer like in Batman vs Superman or dabbles in manslaughter like Batman Forever or The Dark Knight Rises, the Caped Crusaders no killing rule is thrown out the window almost as soon as he steps out the Batcave.

The only film in which he doesn't take a life is strangely Batman & Robin, and that's been considered the worst one. Whilst most audience members overlook the fact that Batman kills and just enjoy the ride, there is something more seminal and consistent about the Dark Knight obeying this very noble rule.

Against the likes of Joker, Penguin or Two-Face, Batman can be pushed to the extreme and to see him take the moral high-ground and not kill is more thought provoking than letting his enemies fall to the ground and deny responsibility.

I overthink a lot of things. Will talk about pretty much anything for a great length of time. I'm obsessed with General Slocum from the 2002 Spider-Man film. I have questions that were never answered in that entire trilogy!
